Hello Vinyl Fans!

Here is a little wrap up of the last few months of vinyl oddities & commodities. 

• Muse reissued their first four lps for the first time in large numbers in the states. These look great and come in at a good price 18.75 and up. Titles available> Black Holes, Orgin, Showbiz & Absolution.
• Built To Spill – There Is No Enemy Double LP from Idaho legends. Comes With a CD of the whole Album.
• Death Cab For Cutie – Something About Airplanes Newest reissue of the debut LP.Great melodies and better guitar work. Really hard to find EVEN a repress.
• Melvins – Nude with Boots  Finally out on LP and on RED vinyl. Latest full length on Ipecac.
• Burzum – Metal freak. It’s an anthology. Twilight? I can’t remember.
• Sunny Day Real Estate – Both LPS on color with great liner notes and bonus tracks. Comes with downloads too! thank you Sub Pop!
• The Breeders – Pod and Last Splash A nice sturdy reissue of indie rock blueprint. On PLain Recordings and 180 gram lps.
• Wolfmother – Cosmic Egg Nice Double LP and MUCH lower priced that the first album.
• Mewithoutyou – Three Lps are in print right now and are selling like hotcakes! Long sought after! We are glad to have these available here for probably the first time.
• Sigur Ros – DMM Remastered Limited Edition Reissues on 180 Gram vinyl of Agaetis Byrjun and ( ). Import only from Europe on Fat Cat.
• Lucinda Williams – Happy Woman Blues & Ramblin’ on My Mind Two new reissues from Smithsonian Folkways imprint. Her first two records in such an awesome package. These are so high quality. & won’t be around for ever.

Polvo – In Prism Awesome new album from this east coast band. Mathy noodley guitar work with a powerful rythym section behind. First album in twelve years!! Great for fans of later Fugazi, Archers of Loaf, heavy jam rock. Check out ‘Beggars Bowl’ on Pitchfork.com

Modest Mouse – Interstate 8 Uber rare Ep from MM. Five early tracks of vintage sounds. But the real bonus is a six song ep hidden on the end. Recorded by Isaac Brock in his garage. Modest Beginnings, indeed.

The Beatles – Remasters Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band Well I wasapprehensive about this reissues series but the proof is in the pudding. AND they are stunning. Flat out. The real proof to is the last two songs on this absolutely art-tastic LP. The theme song reprise that rocks into the goosebump inducing epic – A Day in the Life. Inspiring.

PIXIES – Doolittle I’m going to see them in Nov. play this album all the way through so it has to make an appearance. I believe the term is re-obsessing??

Massive Moth – Heavy Hand of Whimsy A new local release and long anticipated too. Cooler than school tunes that wind around. Somehow this record is light pop and keeps the low end pounding probably thanks to the shirtless wonder that is Dug Hoffman.
